Theatre Arts - Mean Girls selected from across the state to perform at the state THESCON convention in Denver.

11 CE courses available in conjunction with PPSC with both in-house instructors and college professors.
A new CTE wing is being built and is due to be completed during the 2024/2025 school year. The new wing will usher in enormous growth in our CTE course offerings, as well as our student pathways toward job credentials, certifications, and real-world internships.

We offer an extraordinarily competitive full spectrum of athletic opportunities at VRHS. From an annually competitive playoff-bound football team to a state championship Cheer team we offer a well-rounded list of sports for all students to excel and grow.
VRHS hosts a full range of student clubs and activities - HOSA, Cyber Patriot, Pack Peers, Drone Soccer, FBLA, Student Council, NHS, Rock Climbing Club, Speech and Debate, Art and Design, JOI Club, Knowledge Bowl, Chess Club, E-Sports, Asian Culture Club, Anime Club, Robotics Club, Key Club, Various Leadership clubs to include FCCLA & Chick-Fil-A Leadership Academy, Fashion Club, and even a Line Dancing club.

CTE (Career and Technical Education)

CTE provides quality educational programs emphasizing technical skills, core academics, and postsecondary & hands-on learning opportunities. CTE prepares all students to meet the challenges of the workforce, economic growth, and emerging new occupations.

*Many CTE courses offer articulated credit through PPSC.

AP (Advanced Placement)

The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program (AP) enables students to pursue college-level studies while in high school. AP Students can earn college credit and potentially skip intro college courses by testing well on AP exams (as determined by institutes of higher learning), saving college tuition costs.

CE (Concurrent Enrollment)

Get a headstart on college as a D49 student by adding free college courses to your school schedule to earn credits towards an associates degree, for transfer to a university, or for industry certifications. Classes are offered on- and off-campus in a wide variety of subjects.

Explore careers, gain knowledge & skills towards your career goals, and earn college credits through Pikes Peak State College's Career Start.

Work-Based Learning

Work-based learning allows you to build connections with industry partners, and develop/practice technical, academic, and employability skills for your career success. Work-based learning ranges from short-term experiences like workplace tours, guest speakers, and job shadows to more sustained activities like internships and apprenticeships.

WolfPack COED Cheers securing their 8th CONSECUTIVE League Championship!! Reigning CSML 5A COED Champions. The team also won the COED Gameday Open division and Grand Champions with overall high scores.

“For the ’22-23 school year, students in yearbook class at Vista Ridge High School focused on capturing the individuality of every student, teacher and staff member. Their hard work paid off as their yearbook titled, “Vista,” won the National Varsity Brands Most Spirited Competition.

This is our second time winning this national itle and our ifth time being a finalist in the past six years.”
